A west coast contemporary home with inspiration from the steep rocky landscape and shoreline. Each aspect of this build involved critical planning and design while displaying a high level of craftsmanship throughout. The careful selection of materials needed to meet the west coast contemporary aesthetic and withstand the harsh coastal environment.
A large multi point door invites you into a open concept living area with kitchen, dining and breakfast nook. A custom concrete fireplace surround with pass through fireplace is shared with the master bedroom. The polished concrete floors cross hatched pattern is monolithic throughout the home. The kitchen contains high quality European appliances and honed quartz countertops. Warm book matched walnut millwork is seen in the form of cabinetry, wainscot and shelving.
Three opposing bedrooms are set up as individual private quarters with their own bathroom and walk in closets. The master ensuite is open to the bedroom and contains a walk in shower with teak inlay, free standing tub and double sink vanity.
Vaulted ceilings with western red cedar cladding rests on an architectural concrete moment frame and projects out to the soffit, directing the attention towards the view. 12’ tall curtain wall window are divided in to quadrants with bi-parting doors that open to a wide patio section that extends the width of the home. The patio is geared towards entertaining and features an outdoor cooking area, dining, lounge with fire table and hot tub.
